Most households have a box or a tin into which we put our buttons, beads and bits of broken jewellery. And that's where they usually stay. Brought out for grandchildren who love sorting through them, or opened now and again to look for the odd button, but the rest of the time they live quietly in a cupboard.
Or collect vintage buttons
Or even store in jars
With a bit of imagination and some thread or wire we made:-
Snowmen and Christmas Trees
Including this rather cute, yet scary, big bug.
And, I don't think we made much of a dent in the number of buttons we have collected.
Next meeting is the AGM and is held on Tuesday 7th February.
